Ty Seddon
Ty Seddon is a software architect specializing
in knowledge management, expert systems, service oriented architecture (SOA), object-oriented
design, database design, project management,
and business process optimization.
He founded CogniVista in 2006.
With 15 years of experience working with a variety of organizations in many
industries, Ty Seddon kept finding the same need; the need for better communication
and collaboration among knowledge workers. The collective knowledge of an organization,
properly utilitized, is any organization's greatest asset. Many people call it an
asset, but very few treat it like an asset. It is not managed, measured, nor leveraged
adequately and due to those shortcomings, almost never shows up on a balance sheet.
Ty founded CogniVista in 2006 to pursue his passion of working with organizations
in growing and leveraging their knowledge
assets.
